There are rumors that the number could fetch as high as 700m Rials.
Some 300,000 such numbers are due for auction.
Earlier, Mobile Telecommunications’ head of Transactions Committee had announced that of 16,000 Hamraah-e Avval postpaid SIM cards so far offered at auctions, 5,000 have been sold.
Generally, at each auction only 30% of such numbers are ever sold; the remaining are those with no or below base-price offers.
