Domestic mobile set production impossible: parliament deputy

“With the ever expanding mobile set technology in the world, manufacturing the item in the country is impossible,” deputy head of the Iranian parliament’s industry and mines Commission
Mostafa Seyyed Hashemi told Mobna news agency.
“Mobile set technology is expanding continually and Iran will not be able to compete with the ever evolving know-how,” he said.
“The only way to manufacture mobile sets in the country is to stop their import, but then the smuggling will undo such action,” he added.
