Taliya to introduce 18-dollar sim cards

“The new Taliya sim cards are on sale as of Monday at 173,000 rials (18 dollars) apiece at Tehran’s 40 telecom bureaus, with each sim card having an initial 50,000-rial (five dollars) credit.” Taliya spokesman told Mobna news agency
On the basis of agreement between Telecommunication Company of Iran (TCI) and Taliya, the cost of line establishment is 100,000 rials (a dollar) with an additional 23,000 rials (2.5 dollars) towards rates and tax.

Taliya’s national network has so far sold 800,000 prepaid sim cards covering all major cities.
In Taliya network a call is charged 670 rials (seven cents) per minunte.
