Third mobile phone operator should have 2M subscribers abroad: regulatory body
It was previously decided that the operator should have at least five million.
One of third mobile phone operators commitments was that five percent of its shares should be owned by an operator that has at least five million subscribers in abroad.
However this number has decreased by Radio Communication and Regulation Organizations commission to two million subscribers.
“Dubai will host the second conference of Irans third mobile phone operator on Oct 16. Next conference likely will be around 15 November and will be held in Kish island,” third mobile phone operator tender manager Saeed Mahdioun said.
All companies which have purchased tender documents should provide their queries to project manager maximum up to 14 October.
Third countrywide operator is planned to provide 3G services to 17 million subscribers over a 15-year period.
