400,000 MCI prepaid sim cards sold in first 24 hours

State owned MCI decreased its prepaid sim cards price from 340,000 rials to 120,000 rials which led to this high welcome.
On demand sale of MCI prepaid sim card with new price has influenced Irancell sim card market strictly and people prefer to buy MCI sim cards instead of low quality MTN-Irancell sim cards.
 MCI after decreasing semi-postpaid 0910 sim card price from 1,500,000 rials to 1,230,000 rials, has started a strict competition with foreign operator MTN-Irancell.
It was planned that 0919 sim cards with new price to be sold as of Eid Alghadir (17 December) to 31 January, but indeed the operator tends to continue this price decline.
MCI prepaid sim cards currently are sold with 120,000 rials price and 20,000 rials initial credit.
MCI has more than 28 million subscribers out of which 11.5 million are prepaid subscribers.
