Internet TV not defined by TCI research center

“Normally, before a research project starts at ICT research center, the demand for it is evaluated but no company or organization which is active in internet TV and supports it has been found,” Mahdi Khodayee told Mobna news agency.
“Similar projects have been defined by ICT research center in the past but they were not followed up for lack of support and internet TV is not exempt,” he said.
Earlier on, TCI managing director had said that internet TV was not among TCI responsibilities but that of Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting Company’s.
Launching of internet TV requires IRIB, TCI and private sector backing.
