• MCI (Mobile Company of Iran) announced that by providing the needed capacity another 10 million subscribers could be added in the year ending March 2009.

• Around 94,000 have registered in the first three weeks for the new 0910 sim cards, each priced at 1.5 million rials (160 dollars).
