Pishgaman Kavir Yazd explains dismissal from Third Operator tender
The consortium had announced its tendency to participate in the tender and the authorities had approved the group’s technical qualifications, Pishgaman Kavir Yazd announced.
The reason that the consortium could not take part in the tender was the changes made in financial conditions for the participants.
As the registered capital for a company to participate in the tender had been set at two trillion rials, the tender authorities announced that Pishgaman Kavir Yazd consortium should give an official document pledging its increase in its registered capital in order to qualify for the tender.
While the consortium was carrying out the new requirements and only one hour before the deadline, the tender authorities announced, while receiving the documents, that the commitment was not acceptable for tender participation and the consortium would either have to increase its registered capital or produce a deed or a bank assurance that it would pay a loan to the company.
As each solution needed several days to fulfill, the consortium would, therefore, was not able to participate in the Third Operator tender.
The consortium had financial and technical ability to participate in the tender but because of the new condition it did not have enough time for tender participation.
