40,000km of country’s roads under MCI antenna coverage

In a statement issued by company’s public relations office and to mark the 31st anniversary of the Islamic Revolution the Fajr Festival, it says the no of MCI subscribers had no passed the 35.2-million mark, of whom around 19.2 million are prepaid and the remaining 16 million are postpaid sim card subscribers.
MCI sim cards are sold on demand and the operator’s penetration rate in the country stands at 48%.
All country’s cities – 1,098 – are under MCI antenna coverage as well as more than 35,700 villages.
The operator has roaming link with 258 operators in 109 countries.
