Commerce ministry`s inspection firm should control imported mobile quality: an expert
IGIC is a sub-company of Iran Ministry of Commerce and has been licensed by the Central Bank of Iran and Institute of Standards & Industrial Research of Iran.
“One of duties of IGIC is inspection of mineral and metallic materials quality and quantity and also different equipments, machineries of imported good and those which are to exported such as mobile sets,” a university professor Bijan Safavi told Mobna news agency.
“Inspection duties of this company should be in a way that after issuing goods quality evidence, the consumer would not face any problem,” he said.
“Foreign and domestic made products should gain several evidences such as good inspection evidence (quality and quantity), pre-shipment inspection (PSI) evidence, exterior inspection evidence, approval evidence, pricing evidence and consumer satisfaction evidence from International Goods Inspection Company,” Safavi added.
