4G mobile phone research project abandoned

“3 years have passed since the research budget for the private sector was omitted and as a result the 4G mobile phone research project, which started in 2003, has stopped at pilot phase,” Gholam-Reza Behrouzi told Mobna news agency.
“At present, not only the research projects of Fonun Ertebatat Sayar have been shelved due to lack of fund, but also executive and production projects are incomplete because of lack of government support,” he said.
“The implementation of the research phase of mobile phone fourth generation project is impossible without a budget allocation and because of that 30% of company’s best personnel were laid off last year,” he added.
