Level of service for mobile to be offered after telecom company privatization: official
Service Level Agreement (SLA) is that part of a service contract where the level of service is formally defined.
“Service Level Agreement is talked about when there is a competing market between operators and until the time that the circumstances are not met then telecommunication will not have any plan about this issue,” Telecommunication Company of Iran managing director Saber Feizi said.
“Operators should define SLA for their subscribers, and heir proposals for this matter will be studied Radio communication & Regulation Organization,” he added referring to the telecommunication ministry regulatory body.
He added the for the time being Mobile Company of Iran has not plan to introduce Service Level Agreement to its customers.
Experts believe that due to the quality problems of networks, SLA is necessary for operators.
If the Service Level Agreement (SLA) of mobile phones is set then the low quality of mobile phone service offered by operators will result in them being fined.
SLA regulation clarifies laws between operators and users. Operators should take responsibility of their services levels and customers.
