Taliya can become an independent company: TCI official
“Telecommunication Company is completely ready to cooperate with Taliya to solve its contract problems, so that a new investor can join them,” TCI private sector cooperation office manager Seyyed Ahmad Olamayee told Iran mobile news agency.
“Telecommunication Company has issued cooperation permission in written,” he added.
“Telecommunication Company tends to develop projects which somehow have partnership with private sector,” Olamayee added.
Taliya is national independent prepaid mobile phone network which so far has distributed more than 912,000 sim cards and has covered all provinces capitals and major cities.
According to Iran Telecommunication Company license six million numbers of Iran frequency space have been allocated to Taliya mobile phone numbers. Experts believe that if Taliya becomes fully independent in the coming months, then one can anticipated dramatic changes in Taliya.
Currently 57 percent of Taliya gross income goes to government.
