Third Operator’s fate should be determined soon: MP

“Third Operator tender winners have not been formally announced but it appears that Tamin Telecom Company is going to be announced as winner,” Ali Motahhari told Mobna news agency.
“There is no problem in launching Third Operator, only its winners should first be declared. Although Third Operator tender was annulled but the Iranian partner of Tamin Etisalat Consortium seems suitable as Third Operator,” he said.
Tamin Etisalat Consortium was selected as Third Operator winner but was later dismissed from the project because it failed to perform its obligations.
The fate of Third Operator project remains in doubt.
