Computerized control of Tehran traffic to begin soon

“There will be 1,300 officers overseeing the scheme from 6:30am to 7pm assisted by cameras installed at entrances to the controlled zone,” Saeed Esmaeeli told Mobna news agency.
“Some 300 cameras would automatically record the number plate of unauthorized vehicles,” he added
“Traffic tickets would then be addressed to offending drivers,” he said.
