Authorized mobile set importers do not welcome Persian font sms software
Value added services are services which the subscribers did not get when they purchased the sim card.
“Sharif University advanced information technology research center is ready to test Mobile Company of Irans Persian font sms software on new mobile sets which have not hit the market yet,” Persian font sms software project manager Jafar Mohammadi told Mobna news agency.
“So before the new models hit the market, the software will be installed on these mobile sets,” he added.
“Persian font sms software has been tried on more than 100 mobile set models. Authorized mobile sets vendors can submit their requests for testing the software to MCI telecommunication service bureaus or Sharif Universitys advanced information technology research center,” he said.
This lab for value added service has been launched on request of Mobile Company of Iran with Sharif Universitys advanced Information and Communication Technology research center.
Currently there are almost 2,000 mobile set models in the country, but 95 percent of mobile phone subscribers use only 250 models and the other mobile set models are used rarely
It is planned that softwares second version to be released this week with more features and without previous shortcomings.
So far almost 350,000 users have successfully downloaded Persian font sms sender software from Mobile Company of Iran website.
It is planned that the softwares second version which has new features will be released this week.
A plus point about this software is that by using it one can send Persian font sms up to 200 characters, while without it only 70 characters can be sent.
