6% TCI share transfer to SSO denied

“Privatization Organization is not aware of any 6% assignment of TCI administrative share to the Social Security Organization,” Gholam-Reza Kord Zanganeh told Mobna news agency.
“20% of TCI administrative share remains with the government. All of TCI share has been assigned and the company has no more share to assign,” he said.
Yesterday there was news that some of President’s special representatives had decided to transfer 6% of TCI shares to the Social Security Organization in order to increase pensioners allowances or benefits.
50% plus one share of TCI has been assigned to Tose’eh Etemad Mobin Consortium on bourse, the biggest trade ever carried out on Iranian bourse.
According to the law, 50% of TCI shares should have been assigned to a non- governmental sector, 20% to Government, 20% as Justice Share, 5% as floating share and 5% to TCI personnel.
