MCI’s round-12 catchy numbers auction

“The auction will be conducted, as before, for 2,000 catchy numbers on Jan 17,” Abolfazl Alishahi told Irans mobile news agency (Mobna).
He said the auction documents will be on sale in a few days time and stressed the base price on each type of number will be different.
He said the numbers will be selected randomly by computer and indicated the winners of the previous auction held a few weeks ago have been selected.
On average 30 numbers are sold at each auction and the rest have either no bidders or the bids fall below the base price.
The highest bid has been on MCI’s 09127777777 number which fetched 577,770,000 rials at a previous auction.
